Introducing Christian Mission Today by Michael W. Goheen
Introducing Christian Mission Today by Michael W. Goheen offers a comprehensive survey of the church’s global mission in the midst of the transformations of the modern world. Grounded in a biblical and missional framework, the book emphasizes that mission is not an optional activity but the very identity of the church—ordained by the lordship of Christ and integral to the founding purpose of the early church itself. It explores key themes such as the kingdom of God, the church’s engagement with local cultures, global diversity, and the means of witness through both word and deed, while providing theological foundations and practical guidance for participating in God’s mission today.
