Practical Study
Our program is not centered on abstract academic theories about the Bible, but on the Word itself—reading and understanding Scripture together with the instructor. Each student is provided with a tablet PC. By diligently storing the abundant educational resources supplied by the seminary on this device, you can make excellent use of them both for your own study and for teaching church members.

Because the educational materials are both profound and easy to follow with clarity, they can be used directly for Sunday worship sermons without the need for separate preparation.
Every student uses this tablet PC. It is provided individually and must be brought to class.
In the process of learning Hebrew and Greek,
students are trained to use software that makes it easy to analyze the biblical original languages.

We do not merely provide students with a few fish; we teach them how to catch fish.

“Then He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’”
(Matthew 4:19, NKJV).
This program is ideally suited for those who wish to maintain their livelihood while starting a small church.
In other seminaries, the regular course of study usually extends over three years (six semesters), requiring completion of 30 subjects for a total of 90 credits. Such a full-time program is well suited for younger students who have sufficient time. However, the situation is different for adults.

For adults who are engaged in their livelihood and bear family responsibilities, enrolling in such a full-time program and absorbing the material like younger students is almost impossible. Adults often find it difficult to make time to attend classes, and even when they do study, much of what they learn quickly slips from memory. They turn the pages as the course progresses, yet remember little of what was covered earlier. Even when they make an effort to listen to textbook-style lectures, the content can feel tedious, and concentration is hard to maintain. Though the desire is there, the body does not always cooperate, and at home there is little time left for study. Must theological education really be this way?

United Christian Seminary is different. Instead of relying on traditional methods learned in class that demand too much time and effort for personal use, students employ original-language software on their tablet PCs daily in an easy and accessible way, ensuring that their knowledge of the biblical languages is never forgotten. Through our seminary materials, students develop a comprehensive perspective of the entire Bible, making sermon preparation smooth and effective. In class, knowledge is placed directly into the student’s mind—the Word becomes clear and understandable. The one-year program is a joyful and fulfilling journey of learning. No matter where you preach, you will be equipped to prepare sermons that lead believers to grasp what they truly long for—“the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God” (Romans 11:33).
